What is BerBeda ?

Pronounced (bur-bay-duh) - BerBeda is an Indonesian word meaning "Be Different".

This message is at the core of BerBeda, that conformity is the slow killer of progress; personally, environmentally and economically. Conformity excuses subpar behaviors, such as a business disposing toxic waste in local water streams or a person buying clothes from a brand whose factories exploit child labor and dangerous working conditions.   

As JFK once said, “Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth”. 

Instead of manufacturing at sketchy factories for a third of the cost, we choose to partner with ethical factories.

Instead of using fabric made from virgin plastic, we choose to source premium recycled ocean plastic. 

Instead of using plastic packaging, we choose to be 100% plastic free.
